1. Accepting these terms
By accessing or using SheetSteps, including sheetsteps.com, app.sheetsteps.com, the Google Sheets add-on, and related services (the “Services”), you agree to these Terms. If you use the Services for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms for that organization.
2. The Services
SheetSteps helps users collect public web data into spreadsheet columns, analyze workbooks, create and repair formulas, clean or transform data, and run spreadsheet workflows. Tutorials, templates, formulas, previews, and AI-generated output are provided to help you work more efficiently, but you are responsible for reviewing results before relying on or publishing them.
3. Accounts and access
You must provide accurate account information, keep credentials secure, and promptly tell us about suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity under your account and for ensuring that workspace members have appropriate permission to use connected spreadsheets, URLs, and data.
4. Your data and instructions
You retain ownership of the content, spreadsheets, URLs, prompts, and other material you submit. You give SheetSteps a limited right to host, process, transmit, and display that material only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the Services and complete your requests.
You must have the rights and permissions needed to process the data you provide. Do not use SheetSteps to access private systems without authorization, evade access controls, violate website terms or robots restrictions, collect prohibited personal data, infringe intellectual-property rights, or break applicable law.
5. Acceptable use
You may not use the Services to:
- harm, threaten, deceive, harass, or exploit another person;
- distribute malware, spam, or unlawful content;
- probe, overload, reverse engineer, or disrupt the Services;
- circumvent usage, security, billing, or rate-limit controls;
- scrape or monitor data you are not authorized to access; or
- resell account access or misrepresent SheetSteps output as verified fact.
We may limit or suspend activity that creates security, legal, operational, or third-party risk.
6. Plans, billing, and cancellation
Paid plans, included allowances, billing frequency, taxes, and prices are shown at checkout or on the pricing page. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled. You can manage or schedule cancellation through the billing portal. Access generally continues through the paid period. Except where law requires otherwise, fees already charged are non-refundable.
7. Third-party services
The Services may work with Google, Stripe, AI providers, scraping providers, websites you choose, and other third parties. Their terms and policies may apply separately. SheetSteps is not responsible for third-party content, availability, policy changes, or actions.
8. SheetSteps ownership
SheetSteps and its licensors own the Services, software, branding, designs, documentation, and other materials we provide, excluding your content. These Terms do not transfer ownership. You may not copy, modify, sell, or create a competing service from protected SheetSteps materials except where law expressly permits it.
9. Availability and changes
We work to keep SheetSteps useful and reliable, but features may change, experience downtime, or be discontinued. We may update the Services and these Terms. If a material change affects paid use, we will provide reasonable notice where required.
10. Disclaimers and responsibility
The Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, SheetSteps disclaims implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. AI, scraped, formula, and analytical output may be incomplete or incorrect. Always review important results and keep appropriate backups.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SheetSteps will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or lost profit, revenue, data, or business damages. Nothing in these Terms limits rights or liability that cannot legally be limited.
11. Ending use
You may stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for a serious or repeated violation of these Terms, nonpayment, security risk, unlawful use, or where continued service is not reasonably possible. Provisions that by their nature should continue after termination will survive.
