Is the spreadsheet checker free?

Yes. You can run up to 12 scans per day without creating an account.

Does SheetSteps upload my Excel file?

No. Excel and CSV files are read in your browser. The workbook is not sent to an AI model.

Can it check a Google Sheet?

Yes. Paste a public Google Sheets viewer URL. Private sheets cannot be imported.

Which formula errors can it find?

It detects visible errors including #REF!, #N/A, #VALUE!, #DIV/0! and formulas whose pattern differs from nearby cells.

Can it repair a formula for me?
